Brand Review: Drybar

I am guilty of using way too much heat on my hair. I love love love straightening my hair. For the longest time I was never satisfied or in love with the straightener I was using. After some research, I finally caved and purchased the Drybar “Tess Press” straightening iron.

This iron works amazing. One swipe on a piece of hair and it's straight! You can adjust the heat up to 450 degrees, which is the temperature I always use. Another thing I love about this product is the size. Usually whenever I would go away for the weekend or on a vacation, I would have to bring a mini straightener but this one is so thin that it's so easy to fit in my bag! 

Another great product from Drybar is their “Heated Straightening Brush.” I like this because it is a quick way to make my hair straight. I will say that it doesn’t give you super pin straight hair so if you have curly hair, this isn't for you. It is great in the morning if you are in a rush. Before I go to class for the day, I like to just hit my hair with this so it looks like I put some effort into my hair! 

The next product I have from Drybar is the “Buttercup” blow dryer. I’ll be honest this dryer is heavy. It will take a few uses to get used to especially if you are switching from a light dryer. Though the weight comes with the quality. My hair dries so fast with this drier it really does cut down drying time. It comes with three different heat settings and two power settings as well as two concentrated nozzles. I love this blowdryer and I don’t see myself changing it anytime soon. 

I also have the “Full Pint” round brush which I dont think is totally necessary but all Dry Bar products are of great quality. I do recommend the “Hold Me” hair clips which are great for a nice blowout or straightening. 

Drybar is a great brand with very high quality products that make it worth the price. Let me know if you have tried any of these products!
