My Makeup Holy Grails

The power of makeup. We all know the people that say “you don’t need makeup!” or “you’re wearing too much makeup!” That isn’t what makeup is about. I love makeup because I feel it is a way that I can express myself. Just simply getting ready for a night out brings me joy because blending out my foundation is so relaxing to me. I don’t wear makeup everyday but when I do I use these products pretty much every time. Take a look at my holy grail makeup products. 

Foundation: Maybelline Matte + Poreless Fit Me Foundation.

I have been using this foundation for about two years now and it is truly my favorite. I have tried high end foundations such as the Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Longwear Foundation  and it doesn’t hold a candle to the Maybelline foundation. It is so long lasting I don’t even need to use a setting spray. 

Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.

The hype is real with this product. I struggle with dark circles and this concealer is the most high coverage that I have tried. Usually concealers that are very full coverage can be dry but this does not make your undereyes look dry or cracked at all! 

Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. 

This is the best setting powder out there. If you are looking to bake your face or just set it, this powder can do just that for you. I have bought about 5 of them already because they are just so good. 

Bronzer: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer.

This bronzer is the BOMB! First of all it smells like summer and coconuts but in the best way. I don’t really like a lot of fragrance but you can’t smell this once it's on your face. I use the shade “light” and it has great undertones that don’t make you look orange. 

Brows: Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil and Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.

I love the Benefit brow pencil because it is thin which makes it easier to go light and not make your brows look like blocks. Although, the pencil is so thin that sometimes they can break easily. I love using this with the Clear Brow Gel because it keeps my brows in place all day! 

Eyeshadow: I love too many to pick just one palette. 

Eyeshadow is my favorite part of my makeup routine. I have way too many favs to pick just one! I usually recommend to my friends any Anastasia Beverly Hills palette because they have an amazing formula and all their shadows are great. My favorite from them is the Modern Renaissance, definitely my most used palette. Also of course, Jeffree Star Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes if you want to venture out into more colorful shadows. 

Mascara: Milk Makeup Kush High Volume Mascara. 

I usually change which mascara I am using a lot but for the past year or so this has been my go to. It is very volumizing and lengthening my lashes! 

Highlighter: Becca Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop 

This is my go-to highlighter. The color is beautiful as it is a soft gold with some pink undertones. I have the mini size of this too for when I travel. I love it! 

Lip: Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Gloss “Control Freak” 

Lately, I have been loving just wearing this gloss with nothing under it! It is so pretty just by itself. Even if I am not wearing makeup I can still put this on to give my lips some color.

Setting Spray: Mac Fix + 

I think that every person should have this in their makeup collection. It is one of my favorite products ever. When you spray it to set your makeup you will see how well it brings the foundation and powder together. My holy grail always!
