My Top Netflix Picks

The hot topic of conversation right now is “what shows are you watching?” I know that I’ve had many conversations like this in the past eight weeks. Here is a list of some shows on Netflix that are fun to watch in quarantine. 

Schitt’s Creek 

This show is the perfect quarantine show. It is laugh out loud funny. I wanted to watch a light and funny show to try to bring some laughter into my life during such a hard time. 

Quick synopsis: A spoiled rich family loses it all and is forced to move to a shabby small town and live in a rundown motel in: Schitt’s Creek. 

Jane the Virgin 

One of the cutest shows ever. I wish this show didn’t end after five seasons because I loved it so much. This has to go on my list of my top 5 favorite shows.

Quick synopsis: a loose American adaptation of a telenovela in which Jane, who is yes, a virgin, gets accidentally artificially inseminated and has the child of a rich Miami hotel owner which she works for. A must watch. 

How to Get Away with Murder 

Okay… This show is downright amazing. The writing, the acting, everything about this show is amazing. It is so legendary and different, this show is a must watch for sure. 

Quick synopsis: A defensive attorney who doubles as a law professor choses five students to work closely with her as an attorney. They then become involved in various muder plots. I shall say no more.

Dynasty 

This is an easy quick binge watch that is well worth your time. Elizabeth Giles is such an amazing actress she brings this show to life. If you are into shows like Gossip Girl, you will like this. 

Quick synopsis: Take a look inside the drama filled world of one of the wealthiest families. Does money really buy happiness? 

Dexter 

Oh Dexter, the serial killer that people … love? … If you are into crime shows, Dexter is a must watch. 

Quick synopsis: Dexter Morgan: splatter analyst, murderer. Dexter works for the Miami Police Department as a blood splatter analyst yet when he clocks out of work, he hunts for the criminals who got off free from the justice system.
